ATSN Founder James B. Towle gives reality check on open carry, CHL
THE WOODLANDS, TX (April 17, 2015) – American Trigger Sports Network founder James B. Towle, host and executive producer of ATSN television show Stop The Threat, announced that he will present a special live version of the show with Stop The Threat: Live! on Sunday, April 26 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Athena Gun Club in Houston. This presentation is free and open to the public. Audience members are encouraged to attend to meet Mr. Towle, participate in discussion concerning gun use based on reenactments of true crimes, and become educated on personal safety and protection in a multimedia, informative seminar. He will also discuss the recent legislature on Open Carry and what that means to society at large.
Finger foods and refreshments will be available for participants in the hour-long event, and Mr. Towle will also be available after the program for a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity. Participants can also enter a drawing for special door prizes sponsored by Stop The Threat.
“I am excited to be bringing the core concept of our show – lively discussion and debate of reenactments of crimes with the goal of answering the question, ‘How would you stop the threat?’ – to a live group of the public,” Towle said. “We anticipate the response to this presentation to inspire a whole series of live events throughout the area, region and nation especially as the debate for Open Carry escalates.”
Since Stop the Threat’s inception in 2008, an estimated 5 million viewers have tuned in to learn “best response” skills and techniques from professionals, and how to defend themselves, their families and their property if targeted by assailants.
Stop The Threat: Live! will be held on Sunday, April 26 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Athena Gun Club, located at 10814 Katy Freeway, Houston, 77043.
